What time should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive between 3:30-3:45pm so you have plenty of time to park if driving, find your seat, and settle in before the ceremony begins at 4pm.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

We highly recommend using a rideshare option with Uber or Lyft as street parking is limited in Downtown Monterey.

If needed, the most convenient parking is directly across from The Perry House at the Heritage Parking Lot (470 Scott Street, Monterey, CA) for a fee.

Can I bring my kids?

We love your little ones! However, we kindly ask that our wedding be an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a night off to relax, celebrate, and have fun with us! Thank you so much for understanding.

What should I wear?

For the wedding ceremony and reception, please join us in formal attire — suits, tuxedos, evening gowns, or cocktail dresses are perfect.

For the night before, the vibe is a bit more relaxed. Think coastal evening semi-formal — breezy dresses, dressy jumpsuits, button-downs, or blazers paired with nice slacks. Layers are encouraged, as Monterey evenings can get cool!

What will the weather be like?

October is one of the most beautiful times of year in Monterey! The weather is usually mild and comfortable. You can expect a mix of sunshine and light coastal fog, especially in the mornings and evenings—layers are your best friend here! We recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater for later in the day, as the wedding will be indoor/outdoor.

What’s the best way to get to Monterey?

If you are flying in:

1. Monterey Regional Airport (MRY)
This is the closest and most convenient option—just 3 miles (about a 10‑minute drive) from downtown Monterey. MRY offers rideshare and rental cars options.

2. Norman Y. Mineta San José International Airport (SJC)
Located about 75 miles north of Monterey (roughly a 1–1.5 hour drive), SJC is a great choice for a wider selection of flights and also offers rental car options.
